The Sample

Le Sample is an experiment in transitional urban planning, on the site of the former Ateliers Publison, led by the agencies La Belle Friche and Ancoats, in partnership with Ernest on a building made available by SOPIC. The Sample is home to some thirty resident structures in the creative field, a solidarity restaurant, a space dedicated to the area's associative fabric, and deploys an artistic and cultural program within multi-purpose diffusion spaces and a 2000m2 garden. A place of work, culture and solidarity, Le Sample is a welcoming space, open to all, where discrimination of any kind has no place. Respect for the public and the artists is at the heart of this space, which we strive to make more welcoming for everyone on a daily basis.
