LGBT+ Sports Federation

The LGBT+ Sports Federation is recognized as a public utility by the French Ministry of Sports. It is a multi-sport federation focused on people and self-development. It structures inclusive French sport through its LGBT+ sports associations, bringing together 10,000 sportspeople. **Our values Every individual or legal entity who is a member of the LGBT+ Sports Federation undertakes to respect, defend and promote our values. Respect Sport demands tolerance and respect for opponents and referees - without whom the game could not exist - as well as for the environment; and it demands equal acceptance of victories and defeats. Respect for the game, for the rules, for oneself, for others and for sporting and public institutions are the sine qua non of virtuous sporting practice. Inclusion Accessible to all, whatever the form of practice or discipline, sport leads us to adopt a benevolent approach and promote equal opportunities. With honesty and fairness, we ensure the integrity of sporting practice. Solidarity Fostering cohesion and bonding in the sporting world, being altruistic and demonstrating fraternity, means encouraging partners to help and support each other in difficult moments such as defeat and fatigue, as well as in victory and joy. Overcoming Surpassing one's own mental, physical and moral limits is an important part of sport. Surpassing oneself is achieved by sharing with others. **Our events** The Fédération Sportive LGBT+ organizes its own events or takes part in public events: sporting events, information and exchange fairs, round tables and social gatherings.
