À propos

The Centre LGBTQI+ Paris Île-de-France is an association under the law of 1901, which fights for equal rights and against discrimination linked to sexual orientation and/or gender identity. It welcomes, informs and supports people and offers them a space for conviviality (activities, debates, exhibitions, shows, library...), health (prevention, documentation...), support (legal, social, employment, psychology...) and well-being (sophrology, yoga...). It provides visibility and documentary resources on LGBTQI+ issues, and supports its 80 member associations by promoting their initiatives. It also initiates numerous off-site projects in the Paris region. Its history? On January 18, 1993, some fifty representatives of gay and anti-AIDS associations met in Paris for a Constituent General Assembly. Les Amis de Bonneuil, l'ACGLSF, les Caramels Fous, les Gais Retraités, le MAG, Rando's IDF, Le Gai Moto Club, Act Up-Paris, Arcat Sida, le CRIPS, le groupe David Girard, le SNEG, l'Association des Médecins Gais, David & Jonathan IDF, SOS Ecoute Gaie, and many others, created the Centre Gai et Lesbien(CGL). On March 22, 1993, the CGL's articles of association were filed with the Préfecture de Police de Paris, marking the start of an adventure of hope, hard work, commitment and solidarity, led by and for LGBTQI+ people. Today, it's up to all of you to develop it and bring it to life. This is the most community-minded place there is.
